About these terms
Disbored.org is an independent Discord server directory operated by Paul Frederick David Walsh. All contact is handled digitally by email at pfdw@proton.me. Disbored is based in and operated from the United Kingdom. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord. These terms apply when you browse, list a server, review or report content. Our Privacy Policy explains personal data processing. The service is currently free; no paid placement or purchase is required.
Who may use Disbored
You must meet Discord’s minimum age for your country and have legal capacity or appropriate parent/guardian permission to use this service. Do not submit explicit sexual imagery or descriptions. An NSFW classification identifies an adult community; it is not age verification or permission to publish pornography here. You must meet the age and access requirements of any linked community. We may restrict content or access to protect users or comply with law.
Discord login and permissions
Discord authenticates your account; we never ask for your Discord password. Keep your account secure. Listing and management actions require a signed-in account that owns the guild or has Discord Administrator permission. Only the original listing submitter can manage their listing through My Servers. Do not bypass permission checks or impersonate another person. Discord availability and your authorisation affect access to features.
Listing requirements
Ordinarily a server needs at least 10 total members, including bots. An account can submit up to three ordinary listings, five with Standard Partner status or ten with Gold Partner status. Pogforts is excluded from these quotas. Excess listings remain after a downgrade, but further additions are blocked until the account is below its current quota. The invite must resolve to the selected guild. Descriptions contain 1–500 words; up to six custom tags are allowed, each 1–16 characters. Choose SFW or NSFW accurately. You must have authority to publish the server information and icon, and keep the description, tags and invite accurate. Only one listing per guild is allowed. Listing does not imply endorsement or a safety guarantee.
Updates and bumps
A successful ordinary bump is available once every 60 minutes and moves a listing within the Bumped view. Bumping and editing verify the acting user’s current permissions and refresh available server details through Discord, including its approximate total member count. A verified ordinary count below 10 deletes the listing and associated reviews, reports and bump data. There are no hourly background guild checks. Changes may remain undetected until a verified interaction; an ownership transfer is not guaranteed to be detected when the submitter remains an administrator.
Reviews
An ordinary reviewer needs a Discord account at least 30 days old and current guild membership lasting more than 14 days. Owners and administrators cannot ordinarily review their own server. A review contains an integer rating of 1–5 stars and 1–500 written words. One review per Discord user per guild is allowed. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Fake, purchased, coordinated, coerced, retaliatory or misleading reviews, impersonation and undisclosed incentives or connections are prohibited. A reviewer cannot edit or delete a review through the website; contact us for correction, removal or a data-rights request. This interface restriction does not limit statutory rights.
Ranking and ordering
The Ranked view puts listings with at least three published reviews above unranked listings. Its score is average star rating divided by the last recorded total member count, with a minimum denominator of one. A higher score ranks first, giving smaller highly rated communities more visibility. Ties use Discord guild creation date, oldest first, then alphabetical name and guild ID for deterministic ordering. Unranked listings use the same oldest-first ordering. Newest orders by listing submission date; Bumped orders by latest successful bump. Rankings can change following reviews, moderation or data refreshes. Eligibility checks reduce abuse but do not guarantee review authenticity.
Disclosed Pogforts exception
Pogforts, guild ID 1289647026551914568, is operated by Disbored’s operator and receives a special site-approved exception. Its minimum member count, ordinary listing quota and hourly bump cooldown do not apply. Its reviewers are exempt from the account-age, membership-duration and owner/admin restrictions; reviewers must still be signed in and currently belong to the guild. Reviews identified as owner/admin submissions are labelled at submission and contribute to the displayed average and ranking score. Pogforts still needs three published reviews to qualify for ranking. Authentication, management permissions, one-review-per-user, valid content and form limits, bans, moderation and legal requirements continue to apply. This exception is not offered to other guilds.
Search and adult visibility
Search matches parts of server names and custom tags. NSFW listings are hidden by default and on refresh. Enabling Include NSFW adds those listings alongside SFW results under the selected ordering. Search or ordering changes reset to page one and SFW; visibility changes reset page one. Paging preserves the current filters. Results are shown 12 per page. Classification and descriptions are submitted by users and may be inaccurate; please report errors.
Content standards
Do not post or promote illegal activity, child sexual abuse or exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, trafficking, credible threats, terrorism, targeted harassment, hateful abuse or discrimination, doxxing, scams, malware, or infringements of privacy, intellectual property or other rights. Do not target a group or individual for harm. Do not upload confidential or sensitive personal information. Do not scrape personal data, disrupt the service, evade bans or manipulate rankings. These standards also apply to linked communities being promoted.
Reports, moderation and complaints
Signed-in users may report a listing or a specific review under suspicious, illegal or other, with supporting details. Do not submit deliberately false or abusive reports. For urgent safety concerns, inability to sign in, intellectual property complaints, privacy requests or an appeal, contact pfdw@proton.me, identifying the guild/review and relevant URLs. Contact emergency services directly for an immediate danger. The site owner reviews reports and may remove listings, ban guilds or edit/remove reviews. We do not promise continuous monitoring or a fixed response time. Review moderation should address policy or legal issues rather than suppress genuine negative experiences. You may ask for a decision to be reconsidered by email.
Removal and bans
Removing a listing deletes its active listing, reviews, reports and bump records. A ban additionally retains a separate record of guild ID, recorded owner ID where available, submitter ID and ban date to prevent relisting. A ban does not exempt any user from privacy rights. Deleted data may remain temporarily in restricted disaster-recovery backups until those copies expire under the Privacy Policy. Removal does not necessarily remove a previously sent Discord notification, a third party’s copy or search engine cache. We can suspend or discontinue the service, subject to applicable law.
Your content and external services
You retain rights in your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, display and technically format it to provide and moderate the directory for as long as needed for those purposes. You are responsible for having the necessary permissions. Discord, external websites and linked communities operate under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their moderation, availability, conduct or security.
Responsibility and changes
Use reasonable care when joining communities. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill but cannot promise uninterrupted access, accurate third-party information or a particular ranking or growth outcome. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer rights. English law applies, subject to mandatory protections and court rights where you live. Material changes will be identified on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, an on-site notice before taking effect. Contact us if you disagree or need help withdrawing your content.
Partner server rewards
Standard Partner requires 25 valid referrals and Gold Partner requires 50. Only one selected listing per partner receives server-specific rewards; account listing quotas and shout-outs do not require a selected server. Gold retains Standard icon and video rewards. Selected Standard servers automatically bump every six hours and Gold servers every three hours, subject to successful eligibility checks and Discord availability. A manual bump resets that interval; the normal one-hour manual cooldown still applies except for the disclosed Pogforts exemption. Removing an assignment deletes its exclusive saved settings and background. Gold-to-Standard downgrades remove Gold backgrounds and effects, retaining Standard video and icon eligibility. Pogforts has Gold server powers independently of badge display or its lister’s referral count; its optional Gold badge does not consume the lister’s earned selection. This exception grants no unearned personal achievement number or shout-out. Achievement numbers and first-achieved dates remain through tier changes. Public shout-outs show current tier membership and the Discord username last recorded at login.
Partner videos and uploaded backgrounds
Partner listers may supply one YouTube video URL for their selected server page. The YouTube player is embedded directly on the server page, without autoplay. Gold background uploads must be GIF or animated PNG, at most 8 MiB, 300–800 pixels wide and 200–800 pixels high, 2–80 frames and six seconds per cycle. Listers must hold the rights needed to publish uploaded media and embedded links. Existing content and moderation rules apply.
